The Cake Boss does happy hour daily, 4:30 to 6 pm in the bar and lounge, and it might be the easiest win in the Grand Canal Shoppes. Buddy Valastro's place runs on family recipes: Grandma's meatballs, his wife's eggplant parm, chicken parm baked under provolone and mozzarella. The room feels like a Jersey Sunday dinner, all butcher block tables, distressed brick, and Valastro family photos, with indoor and outdoor patio seating and Strip views. Come thirsty, stay for a cannoli or the lobster tail pastry from Carlo's Bakery. There's also Dolce Notte, a small cocktail hideaway tucked inside, if you want to keep the night going.
