Sammy Hagar's Strip outpost sits inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, and the weekday window from 3 to 5 is when it makes the most sense. House margaritas, sangrias, and draft beers all drop to half price, and shots of 818 Blanco go for six bucks, which is about as cheap as tequila gets this close to Las Vegas Boulevard. The margarita list is the real draw here. The CW Margarita is built on Cabo Wabo tequila, the label Hagar founded, and there are mango, tamarind, and coconut-rimmed versions if you want to wander. Regulars grab the Strip-side patio early for the people watching.

The kitchen leans Baja: fish tacos, carne asada, Sammy's tequila shrimp. They pour until 1 a.m., so a late-night stop works too.
