Flowing Tide started up in Reno and has quietly spread to five pubs around the Las Vegas valley, and the Decatur spot is the one most people mean when they bring it up. It's the kind of Nevada tavern that never really closes: gaming machines at the bar, TVs locked on whatever game matters, and a draft list deep enough to argue over. The afternoon happy hour goes 3 to 6 every day with domestic drafts at $3.50, well drinks and house wine at the same price, $5 Rip Tides, and an $8 Happy Bites menu when you want food without committing to a full plate of fish and chips.

Night owls get a second round from 11pm to 1am, and there's even a 7 to 9am window for the breakfast beer crowd. Dine-in only, so grab a stool.
