Skyfall Lounge Happy Hour. The Strip

Skyfall sits on the 64th floor of the tower next to Mandalay Bay, the one that swapped its Delano name for a W sign, and the view is the whole point. Get there right at 5 when the doors open. Sunset drops behind the mountains to the west while the Strip lights up to the north, and the early crowd is mostly couples and hotel guests who figured out there's no cover for one of the best panoramas in town. That 5 to 7 stretch has run as their sunset happy hour, with discounted cocktails, beer, wine, and bar bites, though the hotel changeover makes it smart to confirm when you sit down. Around 9 a DJ takes over and it shifts into lounge mode.
