The corner of Sahara and Fort Apache has quietly become one of the better food stretches on the west side, and TRES Social Tapas is a big reason why. The restaurant moved into a former Mexican spot near Peccole Ranch and rebuilt it around a simple idea: artisanal Latin cooking that pulls from Spain, Portugal, and South America, served in plates meant to travel around the table. Inside it reads more European than Vegas, with Spanish artwork on the walls, and the patio could pass for a cafe terrace in Seville on a mild evening.
The happy hour lives at the bar, Tuesday through Sunday from 4 to 6pm, with discounted wine, cocktails, and a rotating slate of tapas. The timing works in your favor on weekdays, since the dining room does not open until 4 anyway; grab a bar seat when the doors unlock and you have first crack at the kitchen. Regulars report the discount is generous and covers a large chunk of the menu, though the restaurant was reworking its printed drink list as of mid 2026, so ask the bartender what applies that day. Tuesdays add a wrinkle: bring back one of their souvenir shot glasses and they pour you a free shot anytime between 4 and 9.
The food is the reason to linger past 6. Iberico dates arrive wrapped in bacon with almond, blue cheese, and black truffle for $12, and the gambas al ajillo hit the table still sizzling in garlic and smoked paprika. Patatas bravas and empanadas also run $12, easy territory for a two person snack session. If you settle in for dinner, paellas serve two and range from a $39 vegetarian up to a $75 version with lobster tail, and they take time, so order early.
A few practical notes. The whole operation is dark on Mondays. Sunday opens at 11 with brunch, bananas Foster pancakes included, but the bar deal still waits until 4. Bar seating is finite in a room this size, and Summerlin locals have caught on, so showing up right at open is the move if you want the full two hours.
