La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway Happy Hour. The Strip

You take a short staircase down from Wynn's Fairway Esplanade to get in, and the descent is half the fun. The core room is a genuine cellar, dim and close, with LED-lit wine towers the sommeliers climb to pull bottles while you watch. Push farther back and the place keeps opening up: a garden room, a lounge with swinging chairs and high-tops, and a terrace whose floor-to-ceiling glass walls retract in good weather to frame the Wynn pool with the Sphere glowing behind it. Two bars anchor the space, one in the cellar and one near the garden lounge, and the crowd skews couples and wine people rather than the casino floor crush upstairs.

Fair warning on the deal itself: Wynn no longer lists a happy hour for La Cave, and the 3pm start we have on file predates the current 4pm opening, so treat the discount window as unconfirmed until you call. What has not changed is the reason to come. The list carries more than 50 wines by the glass and 13 curated flights drawn from roughly 500 producers, all built for grazing across small plates like beef filet crostini, short rib tacos, Moroccan chicken skewers, and wood-fired pizzas.

If you want the terrace, book it specifically and aim for the 4pm open on a weekday, when the room is quiet and the glass walls are usually pulled back before the dinner rush lands. Saturday and Sunday there is also a butler-style brunch from 9:30 to 1:30 if evening timing fails you.
